Description

Picked in the earliest spring months in Anji, Zhejiang Province, this delicate green tea is renowned as one of China's most prized plucks. Named "Anji" White Tea for the pale, silvery hue of its young buds in water, it reveals a buttery smooth cup - an elegant balance of lightly roasted beans, tender greens and a hint of sweet cinnamon. Beautiful re-brewed again and again, this tea lingers with a soft, creamy finish that feels both refreshing and refined.

  • A delicate green tea with a buttery smooth, elegantly balanced flavour.
  • 40g sealed in a compostable bag inside a black tin. Tins are light blocking and air tight to keep your tea tasting its best from first sip to last drop.
  • This feel-good cup is perfect for a relaxing afternoon tea moment.
  • Best brewed 1-2 minutes using 80°C water. 1 tsp per cup.

From fruits to spices, tea leaves to herb bushes, 100% of our tea is sustainably sourced.

Sustainable Packaging

Packaging that protects
Almost all of our packaging is recyclable, reusable or compostable and is marked with logos to support correct disposal.

Compostable teabags
Our tea has come packed in compostable teabags since 2021. Made from plant- based materials, both bag and string are made from Polylactic Acid (PLA), with a paper tag printed with vegetable ink. Heat-sealed, they’re also glue and staple-free.
Polylactic Acid is a biodegradable bioplastic made from plant sources – in our case, we've used corn starch.

Compostable shopping bags
Shopping in-store? Our uncoated shopping bags can be recycled (when you’re done reusing them). Please note, there is a small charge for carry bags.

Plant-based polybags
Our loose-leaf tea is wrapped in compostable plant-based polybags, which are compostable. We recommend checking with your local government’s green waste pick up service before placing bioplastics in your home compost bins.

Greener gift wrap
Aside from our stickers, our gift wrap is entirely recyclable.
