Chatswood Chase has a new tea destination, and it's the most immersive space we've built yet. The store is wrapped, floor to ceiling, in a single original commission by Sydney artist Kitty Callaghan, and it's the first place to offer two brand new T2 experiences: T2 Brew Bar serving signature takeaway drinks, and a bespoke blending station, where you can create a blend entirely your own.
Kitty Callaghan is a Sydney-based photographer and mixed-media artist, known for surreal collage work that explores femininity, identity and memory. She's a Contributing Editor at RUSSH magazine, and her work has been exhibited internationally. Chatswood Chase is her first retail commission, and the first time we've built a store entirely around one artist's vision.
"My design process was inspired by natural elements, nature, feminine energy. I was also able to access T2's archives of blends and the elements that go into their tea and created an artwork that I intended to speak to both of those visual histories."

The result feels closer to a gallery than a store. Hand-cut collage and photography wrap every wall, so wherever you stand, you're inside the work.
At the front of store, T2 Brew Bar is serving take away signature drinks, for the first time ever. It's the tea range you know, in a format built for whoever's rushing to the next meeting, train or school pick-up.
Further in, the Blend Bar is where things get personal. Book a one-on-one session with a T2 tea expert and build a blend entirely your own, choosing from 15 ingredients available only at Chatswood Chase.
