Few capture that spirit quite like Singaporean artist Tan Zi Xi, better known by her creative moniker MessyMsxi. Known for her whimsical yet thought-provoking visual art, she explores memories, traditions and cultural moments through richly layered compositions filled with curiosity, emotion and meaning.

As part of Tea to Take You Places, MessyMsxi has created the design for Singapore Breakfast, telling the origin story of our very first Singapore store through her own artistic lens. Rather than focusing on a single landmark or moment, she captures the rhythm of Singapore through the traditions, flavours and shared experiences that connect people. Morning breakfasts, tropical landscapes and everyday encounters become part of one vibrant visual story, reflecting the layers of culture and creativity that shape the city.

Paired with Singapore Breakfast Tea, her artwork is the ultimate ode to the nation's beloved breakfast: notes of pu-erh, green tea, coconut and pandan, reminiscent of kaya toast on a lazy morning. Together, they bring a little piece of Singapore's warmth to every cup.
