That's the world New Zealand-born artist Rebecca Ter Borg celebrates in her artwork for T2's New Zealand Breakfast Tea. Passionate about expressing the beauty of her homeland's natural ecosystem, she creates illustrations inspired by the wonders of the outdoors, capturing the joy of wandering through untouched places where every corner of nature holds a story.

As part of Tea to Take You Places, Rebecca has created the design for New Zealand Breakfast , bringing the unique wildlife, landscapes and spirit of Aotearoa to life through her own artistic perspective. Rather than focusing on one famous destination, she captures the feeling of exploring New Zealand's wild places: a curious kākāpō peers through the canopy, a tuatara rests among the greenery, a wētā waits quietly within the landscape. Each animal becomes part of a bigger story, one of connection, conservation and the remarkable natural world that makes New Zealand so special.

Paired with New Zealand Breakfast Tea, featuring the uniquely tangy flavour of beloved Kiwi feijoa on a rich black tea base, the artwork brings together the tastes, textures and encounters that make Aotearoa unforgettable.
