Ayurvedic Spiced Date Milk
This traditional Ayurvedic recipe makes for a delicious pick-me-up, without the caffeine shakes!
- 650 ml almond milk
- 5 teaspoons Indian Spice
- 4 medjool dates, pitted
- In a small saucepan, heat almond milk until hot but not boiling.
- Turn off the heat, add Indian Spice, cover and stand for 15 minutes.
- Strain, then transfer hot liquid to a blender along with dates. Blend until thick and creamy*.
- Pour into two mugs and serve.
*Take care when adding hot liquid to a blender – ensure there is enough ventilation for steam.
