Infuse 3-4 scoops / teaspoons of Grapefruit Granita tea in 150ml boiling water for 10 minutes.

While this is brewing, cut the flesh of the 4 oranges into chunks and place in a blender or food processor.

  • 3

To the oranges, add the ¼ cup sugar.

  • 4

Strain the Grapefruit Granita to yield ½ cup or 125ml brewed tea, and add this into the blender too.

Blend the ingredients together until smooth, and pour into a shallow, wide baking dish.

  • 6

Place this dish into your freezer.

  • 7

After 30 minutes, fluff the mixture with a fork and return to the freezer.

  • 8

Repeat this step every 30 minutes for around 4 hours or until the mixture is no longer wet and takes on a flaky, dry appearance.

  • 9

Scoop the granita into bowls, top with the lime zest and enjoy!
