At T2, we cheer for all flavours and tastes. In tea (of course) as well as art, music and other forms of creativity. With 26 years of designing bespoke teawares under our belts, we’re passionate about celebrating artists who are bringing new ‘brews’ to the table and finding their voice.

In this instalment of our artist collaborations, we’re honoured to introduce 18-year-old contemporary Kalkadoon Aboriginal artist, Brooke Sutton.

Reconciliation, connection and education is at the heart of everything Brooke does, and her T2 collection is no different. Each piece is bursting with vibrant stories of how together, we can create a stronger country for everyone to call home.

With every teapot, mug, cup and saucer adorned with her original paintings Medicine Leaves and Healing Country—she invites you to hold connection to community in the palm of your hands.

Awaken your senses with the kaleidoscope of colourful symbolism through Brooke’s interpretation of Mirrithin Kungala — which means Bush Medicine in the Kalkadoon language.

This collection champions the healing properties of the land through native flora, fauna and landscape.

“The bees and dragonflies represent T2’s hard work towards creating a sustainable future,” says Brooke in her artist statement.”
“Different flowers throughout the painting represents the different ingredients and natural Bush Medicine in the teas,” explains Brooke.

Medicine Leaves features a native Gumbi Gumbi as the knob design on Teapots and Tea for one, embellished in 24k gold.

Healing Country also features a native Davidson Plum knob, embellished in 24k gold.
