Fragrant, creamy and speckled with dried fruits, this drop is the classic Christmas Day dessert you can sip!

You’ll need

  • 2 teaspoons Go Go Goa
  • 2 teaspoons New York Breakfast
  • 2 teaspoons Indian Spice
  • 400 ml/13.5 fl oz boiling water
  • 4 medjool dates, pitted
  • 2 teaspoons sultanas
  • 300 ml/10 fl oz hot (but not boiling) milk of choice
  • ¼ cup whipped cream
  • Freshly grated nutmeg

How to

  1. Infuse teas in boiling water for 6 minutes, then remove the infuser, straining well.
  2. Add dates and sultanas to the brewed tea, and leave to steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Transfer tea and fruits to a blender along with the hot milk. Switch on the blender* and blitz for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour into two mugs and top with the whipped cream. Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.

*Take care when adding hot liquid to a blender – ensure there is enough ventilation for steam.
