Pumpkin Chai Latte

Pumpkin and chai conspire with nutmeg in this wickedly delicious concoction that tastes like Halloween in a mug. So good it’s spooky.

Serves 2
Ingredients
  • 6 teaspoons T2 Chai
  • 400 ml / 14 fl oz boiling water
  • 300 ml / 10 fl oz milk of choice
  • 4 tablespoons store-bought pumpkin puree
  • Honey, to taste
  • Freshly grated nutmeg, to garnish
  • Black sugar or cocoa powder to rim the cup

Tools
  • Infuser or teapot
  • Curios mug
  • Milk frother
  • Blender
  • Strainer

Brew Tip. Place a cinnamon stick in the mug as a “stirring wand”.

Method

    Infuse T2 Chai in boiling water for 4-6 minutes then strain or remove infuser.

    Froth your milk.

    Pour the tea into a blender, add the pumpkin puree and milk (reserving the froth) and blitz for 30 seconds until well blended.

    Divide between 2 mugs and top with reserved milk froth.

    Sweeten with honey if desired, and grate a sprinkling of fresh nutmeg over the top.
