Nestled between green and black tea, oolong is a semi-oxidised wonder with a world of flavour to explore. Some oolongs are lightly oxidised, sharing the freshness of green tea, while others are more oxidised, developing the richness of black tea. With its unique balance, oolong is loved for its smooth, complex character and ability to transform with every sip.
The oolong harvest lasts eight months, from April to November, with two main types:
Green balled leaf (20–40% oxidised) – A staple in our oolong range, this variety has a light, clear yellow infusion with nutty, woody, and slightly smoky notes. Smooth and balanced, it’s perfect for those new to oolong or looking for a refreshing alternative to green tea
Dark twisted open leaf (up to 70% oxidised) – With deeper oxidation, this variety leans towards the bold, fruity, and roasted side of tea, offering a fuller-bodied, richer sip.
With less tannins than black tea and an endlessly layered flavour profile, oolong is a tea for those who love variety, complexity, and depth. Explore our oolong collection and find your perfect balance.Oops! We weren’t able to find any results.
