United in our differences.
Together our cups are full.
Global Diversity Month
A cup for me. A cup for all kinds of you.
It takes all kinds of ingredients from around the globe to make our unique blends of teas and tisanes. So, what if we took a leaf out the way we approach our teacups? And realised that it takes all kinds of you — all kinds of characters, opinions, experiences and abilities — to create a world that embraces all flavours and tastes.
T2’s own Hannah Slaouti shares all kinds of thoughts on multi-localism, and a cuppa, with author Chelsea Kwakye.
A true citizen of the world, T2’s own Amy Smith is a local of many neighborhoods. But there’s three ingredients that make her feel most at home.
T2’s own Jesslin Guvani might call Melbourne home for now. But it’s the pit-stops along the way which have made her a local of many neighborhoods.
T2’s own Georgegina Poulos finds it’s difficult to articulate where she is from. But as for where she is a local, well, that’s a lot easier to explain.
Oceans away from his place of birth, yet T2’s own Edison Lau could not feel more like a local. Today, he shares not just the places, but the people, which makes here, home.
All kinds of you

T2’s Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) policy is to support and facilitate a diverse and inclusive workplace at T2. The diversity of our people is one of our greatest strengths. We value and recognise the benefit of individual differences in the workplace, which supports both the realisation of an individual’s full potential and the achievement of T2’s strategic imperatives.
This is reflective of our community globally and we are committed to a culturally safe workplace that fosters diversity and inclusion. Our people are as diverse as our teas and the people who enjoy them, our aim is to embrace all that makes us different and unique.
Our work to date in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone belongs:
- Global Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee
- Diversity & Inclusion Action Plan (D&I)
- Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
- Reflect Plan Working Group
- Discussion groups
- Education and information resources
- Reporting on issues that matter to our people
- Collaboration and partnerships with multicultural organisations
- Celebrating diversity across the globe
- Policy and systems review including accessibility, language and inclusiveness
- Implementation of new public holidays in various markets — for example, Juneteenth in the US or Luna New Year, globally.
Through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we are committed to creating a culturally safe environment for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
