Description

Designed to add some playful personality to your kitchen shelf – but this storage jar is not just for show. It is artfully hand-blown and shaped with borosilicate glass, with an airtight lid which makes it the perfect place to store your tea.

  • A borosilicate glass storage jar.
  • Perfect for storing loose leaf tea or tea bags.
  • To open: slightly lift the silicone stopper to release the air inside, then lift lid off.
  • To close: place lid on jar, then push in the silicon stopper so the jar is airtight.
  • Dishwasher safe, however we recommend hand washing to expand lifespan of the jar. Handle with care.

Packaging that protects

Compostable teabags
Our tea has come packed in compostable teabags since 2021. Made from plant- based materials, both bag and string are made from Polylactic Acid (PLA), with a paper tag printed with vegetable ink. Heat-sealed, they’re also glue and staple-free.
Polylactic Acid is a biodegradable bioplastic made from plant sources – in our case, we've used corn starch.

Compostable shopping bags
Shopping in-store? Our uncoated shopping bags can be recycled (when you’re done reusing them). Please note, there is a small charge for carry bags.

Plant-based polybags
Our loose-leaf tea is wrapped in compostable plant-based polybags, which are compostable. We recommend checking with your local government’s green waste pick up service before placing bioplastics in your home compost bins.
