How to get it

Meet the roasty, toasty green tea taking over teacups! This finely milled, medium roast hojicha powder delivers a luxurious latte and can be baked, whisked or frozen into endless desserts. Low in caffeine so you can skip the jitters, but full-bodied enough for serious satisfaction. Coffee fans, this one’s for you.

Heat and froth 250mls/8.4fl oz milk. Make a paste with 1 tsp powder and a dash of the hot milk, then stir in the remainder.

Compostable teabags
Our tea has come packed in compostable teabags since 2021. Made from plant- based materials, both bag and string are made from Polylactic Acid (PLA), with a paper tag printed with vegetable ink. Heat-sealed, they’re also glue and staple-free.
Polylactic Acid is a biodegradable bioplastic made from plant sources – in our case, we've used corn starch.

Compostable shopping bags
Shopping in-store? Our uncoated shopping bags can be recycled (when you’re done reusing them). Please note, there is a small charge for carry bags.

Plant-based polybags
Our loose-leaf tea is wrapped in compostable plant-based polybags, which are compostable. We recommend checking with your local government’s green waste pick up service before placing bioplastics in your home compost bins.
