Liquid Gold Chai

Chai lovers, this is for you. Add a touch of indulgence to you everyday chai with saffron, vanilla and a sprinkle of edible gold powder.

Serves 4
Ingredients
  • 500 ml (17 fl oz) boiling water
  • 4 teaspoons T2 Indian Spice
  • 2 teaspoons T2 Spi Chai
  • Pinch of saffron
  • 500 ml (17 fl oz) soy milk
  • Honey to sweeten
  • Edible gold powder

  • 1L teapot
  • Small saucepan

Method

    Fill a 1L teapot with 500 ml (17 fl oz) boiling water, then add Indian Spice, Spi Chai, vanilla and saffron and brew for 2 minutes.

    Add Assam and brew for a further 5 minutes then remove the infuser.

    Meanwhile, warm 500 ml (17 fl oz) soy milk in a small saucepan until heated but not boiling. Add soy milk to the teapot, sweeten with honey and stir well.

    Dust with edible gold powder and serve.
