Zingy lime squeezed onto juicy ripe papaya. Like a mouthful of sunshine, this vibrant tisane brings the sunny vibes with all its golden flavours. We saved the zest for last with plenty of bright lime notes to round the whole thing out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Alexandra50 from Not our favourite We bought this thinking it would taste tropical and refreshing. Unfortunately the smell was not pleasant and super strong while brewing. We decided to taste it iced before throwing it out - it definitely tasted better than it smelled! But it was not as refreshing as we had hoped, it was more like melon and apple with a touch of lime. Unfortunately the taste wasn't good enough to outweigh the smell. We will stick to other teas for now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by WeelyHappy from Very stinky I received this as part of the T2 Tea Subscription. (By the way, I really enjoy the subscription as I get to try new teas I would not normally know about.) The Papaya Lime Loose Leaf was eye-wateringly smelly when I opened the packet and my son and I did not enjoy the aroma which spread through our house. I usually love the fruit teas. This one was the first I couldn't finish. My husband didn't mind it but he said he would not purchase it again. I think this may be one of those flavours/smells that tastes different for certain members of the population.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CrackedChelle from This particular drop is a little different! This would have to be the strongest smelling tea I have ever bought from T2. It's intriguingly pungent. When I brewed this as an iced tea using my favourite method in my 2L Jug-A-Lot, I didn't dislike the resultant tea, but decided it needed something a little different. I ended up adding a little caster sugar to half a glass of the cold tea, stirring until dissolved, then topping up with soda water from my soda stream. Add an ice cube, and it's fantastic... not unlike a gin and tonic flavoured mocktail. Try it! I'll bet this tea goes well with Thai food. Haven't tried it, yet. Can't wait to give it a shot, though. I don't really have any gripe with the tea. I do have to say that I was a little disappointed by the slight deception in the packaging size and price compared with the amount of tea you actually get, which turns out to be the same amount as sold in the smaller, regular-sized loose leaf cubes (yes it does say there is only 100g on the box when you really look). I didn't mind paying a bit more, because I thought I was getting more, but that was not the case and I feel a bit duped. Extra packaging is excess packaging... something I am working really hard to steer clear of, so as much as I like this tea, I probably will not purchase it again. If you need to know, the way I brew my iced tea is to add 3-4 heaped teaspoons of tea to the Jug-A-Lot filter (add sugar at this stage if you wish), half fill the Jug-A-Lot with boiling (or near boiling) water, leave brew for 5 mins or so, top with cold water (leave the filter in place!!) and then continue cold brewing in the fridge for about 6-8 hours. Remove the filter after this and store the tea in the fridge ready to use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mel Tea Connoisseur from Yumish.... I was hesitant about buying this because I don't like papaya but wanted to give it a shot. I do like it so I'm not mad I got it. However it STINKS! I have put my tin in a zip lock bag to contain the smell so I strongly suggest doing something like this and throw out all the packaging as soon as you've opened it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tealover777 from Super delicious! super yummy melon notes when you first sip and a lovely refreshing citrus flavour after. It’s also not too sweet. I feel like the apple gives it just enough sweetness.
