Matcha 101

  • How is matcha made?

T2 Matcha’s made using tencha, green tea leaves that have been grown under shade in the last two weeks. The leaves are then picked and steamed immediately to lock in that vibrant green goodness, then refrigerated until they’re ready to be ground into matcha. We grind our matcha on demand so that we can ensure a good shelf life, plus share with you only the freshest, highest quality organic matcha.

  • Good to be green

Matcha tops our superfood list for its energy-giving properties as well as its ability to help us unwind.

The combo of caffeine and amino acid L-theanine buddy up to give you a slower release of caffeine. This means no caffeine jitters, and also means you can power on for longer. Great for hitting the books or before a work out!

  • Matcha with food

Matcha’s rich and grassy taste can also be enjoyed in smoothies, sprinkled over porridge, or mixed up in frothy latte. You can even add it sweet treats like bliss balls!
